Here's a high level plan of the trip, along with some activities we would love to have to you join! Of course, feel free to make your own plans but would love to have to join us as well! 

August 5, 2024 - Arrival

Jin and Joyce arrives in Seoul, Korea.

August 10, 2024 - Tea Ceremony

Tea Ceremony (Optional) | Location and Time TBD
Dress Code: Casual

The Chinese tea ceremony is a beautiful and meaningful wedding tradition that dates back to the Tang dynasty in China. During the ceremony, the bride and groom serve tea to their respective families, including parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other family members. Jin and I would love to continue this tradition and invite you to an optional tea ceremony, where we will also serve food. We hope you can join us for this special event.

August 11, 2024 - Ceremony and Reception

Wedding and Reception | Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul, 5:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Dress Code: Semi-Formal

Both the wedding ceremony and reception will take place at Banyan Tree Club & Spa Seoul. Food will be served. Banyan Tree is on top of a hill, so please plan ahead and plan to get there earlier!

August 11, 2024 - Afterparty

TBD - Palace Tour

TBD - Lunch/Dinner

Afterparty | Itaewon, 11:30 pm

 

After reception, if we are still alive, we would like to go check out Itaewon. Location TBD.

 

Gyeongbokgung Palace Tour (optional), Time TBD


We are going to tour the Gyeongbokgung Palace! Gyeongbokgung, also known as Gyeongbokgung Palace, was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395, it is located in northern Seoul, South Korea. The largest of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon dynasty, Gyeongbokgung served as the home of the royal family and the seat of government.
